Why redesign?
In order to redesign an existing flow of a successful app in the alcohol reduction field, there needs to be a clear reason for doing so. One potential reason for this particular challenge could be to increase adoption rate of the app. Additionally, there is a unique requirement to incorporate AI into the redesign, which presents an opportunity to enhance the app's capabilities and provide users with more personalized and effective support. By carefully considering these factors and taking a user-centered design approach, the team can create a more intuitive and engaging user experience that encourages greater adoption of the app and ultimately helps to reduce alcohol consumption.
Analyzing the current onboarding flow
First I downloaded the Reframe app and imagine myself as a first-time user to experience the app.
Second As a UX designer, I conducted a thorough analysis of the app and identified several potential issues that could impact user adoption. By taking a user-centered design approach, I was able to identify pain points in the user journey and areas where the app could be improved to better meet user needs and expectations. This analysis provides valuable insights for the team to inform the redesign process and create a more effective and user-friendly app
First -I experienced the onboarding as a user.
